IFS UPDATE – Fall – 2025

Boise City Council denied our request for reconsideration regarding Interfaith’s CUP to relocate to State street.
With the approved CUP the city has removed the Occupancy cap and relegated most of the mitigation measures to a condition about compliance with the Security Plan, but included a provision to allow the Security Plan to be changed without public review or comment.
Additionally, While Interfaith Sanctuary has been vocal in the media and during tours about re-branding the project and making changes between this application and the prior one, those changes were not reflected in their actual application.
We can continue this fight as long as the neighborhood continues to oppose the project.
